A Year in Space

The very fine 'A Year in the Country' blog has kindly written a few words about The British Space Group.

For those of you who haven't been following his wanderings / wonderings then you're missing a real treat particularly if you're a fan of the type of stuff I talk about over on my Wyrd Britain blog.

'If you should be an appreciator of contemporary Radiophonic-esque, explorative electronica with echoes of many of the above points of reference, from the work of Mr Nigel Kneale onwards and outwards, then a wander around the strange orbits of his work could well prove rewarding.'

Phantasms 3

8 months on from my accident things are finally starting to get back to normal and I'm now able to walk again albeit with the occasional help of a stick which makes me feel very dapper.

Firstly though we are happy to bring you the third and final part of my Phantasms project - incidentally now attributed to The British Space Group.  I released the first Phantasms EP in September 2010 with the second in April 2011 so there's been quite a wait for this oneI hope you enjoy it.

You can hear the third part in the player below and parts one and two are available here and here.

As with the other parts this has been made available digitally but within a fortnight we will be issuing all three parts on one CD under the umbrella name, 'The Phantasmagoria'.  We will, of course, announce it here and on the Facebook page when it's ready but here's a sneaky peek of the sleeve just to tantalise.

Finally, I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and kindness over the last 8 months.  It really was hugely appreciated.

Peace
Ian
